This changes a few more places to use scoped_restore, allowing some
cleanup removals.

This removes some cleanups from gnu-v3-abi.c, by using std::vector
rather than VEC.

This removes make_cleanup_delete_event_location and instead changes
the various location functions to return an event_location_up, a new
unique_ptr typedef.
This is largely straightforward, but be sure to examine the
init_breakpoint_sal change. I believe the code I deleted there is
dead, because "location != NULL" can never be true in that branch; but
you should double-check.

Since the breakpoint structure is new'ed and delete'd, you can also
change breakpoint's location field to be an event_location_up, instead
of doing a (bunch of) release. I think you could do the same with the
location field in linespec_result as well, since that structure is only
allocated statically (and therefore its defaults ctor/dtor are called).

Rather than change this patch, I've added new patches to do these
things. Once I started changing linespec_result, I realized it should
be converted more fully.

From what I understand about C++ constructors and destructors, the check
for -1 is unnecessary. The destructor will only be called if the
constructor ran to completion. If the constructor ran to completion
(didn't throw), m_desc won't be -1.

it I realized the explicit_location class was not ready to receive
std::strings yet. When we get there, I think the
string_to_explicit_location will gain a lot in readability. So given
the circumstances, this patch looks good to me.

I'd suggest removing vec_len and using vec.size() everywhere, instead of
a mix of both. And feel free to rename the "vec" variable name to "pcs"

This introduces command_line_up, a unique_ptr for command_line
objects, and changes many places to use it. This removes a number of
cleanups.
Command lines are funny in that sometimes they are reference counted.
Once there is more C++-ification of some of the users, perhaps all of
these can be changed to use shared_ptr instead.

I don't understand that bit, why the comment and the release? From what
I understand, this else clause is executed only for the first item, when
head is still NULL. The goal being to keep a reference to the head of
the list. All the other iterations will go in the true clause, which
appends the new item at the end of the list.

Well, apparently the build on Windows was broken by the guy that pushed
the ptid patch last week, can you believe it? With that fixed (pushing
a the fix in a moment) and your patch, it builds fine with
--host=x86_64-w64-mingw32.

pointer to dlopen? Since this is a unique pointer that instead
owns a _handle_ that is returned by dlopen, I'd suggest naming
it dlhandle_up or gdb_dlhandle_up instead.

Well, the part about calling error is still true (well, it's technically
not calling error but perror_with_name). I think it's good to mention
that the constructor can throw an exception.
