Hi,
now after the ppc64 split code is in, I'd like to send my patch for
PowerPC FreeBSD support again.
The code is under testing since a longer time and it only improves :)
The attached patch has been build on powerpc64-unknown-linux-gnu, on
powerpc*-unknown-freebsd10.0 and on x86_64-unknown-freebsd10.0 with
enable-targets=all (only the last one)
No regressions seen.
Feedback welcome!
TIA,
Andreas

I only quickly scanned your patch, and just happened to notice
that the .mh file is missing a copyright header. I know that most
.mh files do not have one, and yours is probably small enough that
we could get away with it, but we're trying to be a little more
consistent about this now. Thank you!

Np, I was looking at the others and left it away. I'll add one.
Thanks, for the feedback!

Just to make it clear, is the below ok? I see that I'm going to be the
first adding a copyright header :)
Thanks,

It looks OK to me, except that I am wondering about the syntax used
to write comments. Does "/* */" work in Makefiles? I would have
thought you'd use #.

These look stale.

Given the above hint and the one from Joel regarding the mh copyright
with # I take it as ok to commit? If so, do I have to wait or can I
commit immediately? (Branching?)

Yes, please commit. Note we have a policy of only skipping
re-posting the a patch on check in if the last version posted is
what is going in. So in this case, just commit, and resend the committed
version as a "FYI - this is what I checked in" courtesy.
Thanks,
