Hello,

Really really busy these days, so can't really do more than just
dumping this on the list (sorry). But just FYI, it looks like the
nightly GDB source snapshot has been failing due to a compilation
warning in BFD... Is this being looked at, by any chance?

Hello,

FYI, the source packaging for GDB started failing 2 days ago (see
attached error message), and I don't think I will have time to look
into it before this coming weekend.

I did a build of GDB from scratch, and that worked. So this is
the good news. The bad news is that we'll have to first see if
we can reproduce with the src-release.sh script.

Copying H.J on the off chance that his patches about passing
--plugin to AR and RANLIB might be related.

Please do not investigate if you can't see why your patch could be
related to this, but I thought I'd ask you what you thought before
I dive it myself (I've just had a very long day...).

and reproduce the problem, so I can at least provide more details.
Those nightly scripts are a real pain to follow, as they are
multilayered and love to make things so generic as always being
a pure headache in figuring out exactly what they do in practice...
