Did you perhaps mean to send this to the gdb list (rather then the binutils
one). I've added that one to Cc here.

The state of this is that while gdb tries to use the markup, nobody has
done the work to fix up the build to create a .pot file, etc.

I see we don't even have a bug about this, so I filed one:

https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33843

Anyway I think a change like this would be welcome.

We'd need some education on what to do in terms of working with the
translation project.
