FWIW, there's a bug report and an earlier thread about D support.

Is this a different implementation of the D language support?

In any case, we will need copyright assignment papers from all the
authors of the code.  If that is just you, I can get you started, just
email me off-list.

Otherwise, my understanding is that there was some difficulty contacting
the original author.  Unfortunately we can't accept a patch of this size
without proper assignments in place.
