No.

ChangeLog-2006 points at:

where we see that REALTIME_LO/HI were defined in target headers,
while they should really be native/host defines.  So it's not that they
got deprecated, but a target/host confusion bug was fixed.  The
macros are still there in common/signals.c.

Can you be more specific?  What multiple layers?
