How are things going with merging in multi-threaded watchpoints (it's
been in the FC RPMs for some time)?

It's kind of stalled. Daniel made a proposal to appease Eli's dislike of the
use of the observer mechanism. I asked a question a couple of weeks ago to
clarify, but haven't gotten a response as of yet.
