And by the way -- any idea why the last two gdb snapshots (both made
in May 2009) don't seem to include process record?

I see a snapshot that was made on May 8: gdb-6.8.50.20090508.tar.bz2.
Doesn't it include process record?

Perhaps we could isolate a snapshot of your choice and add a news entry
on the website?

No, it doesn't. I'm kind of mystified as to why.
The changelog only goes up to 04/22.

Anything current (this week) should do nicely, I would think...

I wonder where you got your snapshot. I just downloaded it, and the last
entry is:

  2009-05-07 Joel Brobecker <brobecker@adacore.com>

          * gdbarch.h (target_gdbarch): Add comment documenting this global.

I got it from sourceware.org:/pub/gdb/snapshots/current (file named
gdb-6.8.50.20090508.tar.bz2 (or use the gdb.tar.bz2 link).

Ah. I got it from snapshots/branches, where its name and
file size were slightly different.
