The gdb/snapshots/branch/README says that these branch snapshots are cut
from the 5.1 branch. Can they be cut from the gdb_5_2-branch now?

Oops! The readme is out-of-date. Just fixing the doco noteing that
this needs to be done.

The snapshots also had 5.1 in their name, so the snapshot script also
needs tweaking maybe?

The snapshot process is working alarmingly well :-) The tradition is to
use .90 et.al. suffixes for pre releases of the next version :-) See my
recent doco post describing release numbering.
