I don't know.  I'll let the 5.1 snapshot machinery chug along for a 
while regardless.

If a few extra platforms get fixed and pushed onto the 5.1-branch then a 
5.1.1 is probably worth it.  If nothing else, it would provide a little 
closure.

A few C++ tweeks might also be useful (although I suspect more difficult 
to select / merge).

At a guess 5.2 would branch Feb - Mar '02 (i.e. late summer :-)
