Hi,

Agreed.

My rationale for using this approach was to reuse code as much as 
possible, but as mentioned here ( 
https://sourceware.org/pipermail/gdb-patches/2025-August/220136.html ), 
it made things more complicated, and in v3 I'm no longer using 
find_pc_section.
