A function comment would be nice.

I think this line will at some point call the default copy constructor of record_full_mem_entry
and record_full_reg_entry, which have those buffers:

gdb_byte buf[sizeof (gdb_byte *)];

IIUC you'll only have a shallow copy. Should we use a std::move instead here?

I further wonder if this problem might be related to the double free issues you
describe in patch #3. Would you mind checking?

And if you add the destructor, I think it would make sense to add a copy constructor etc., too:

Similar comment as already in my earlier review:
Can record_full_next_insn be == 0 here or may record_full_list be empty ?

I think it might be worth checking the patch if there are more similar issues.
The old patch had more guards to check this.

And I noticed in some other locations you cast it:

	  if (sigval != GDB_SIGNAL_0)
	    record_full_incomplete_instruction.sigval = (gdb_signal) sigval;

Not sure if this is necessary or not, but it might be for checking and making it consistent?
And is it intended that now we don't clear sigval anymore?

Shouldn't we set it to std::nullopt in case signal == GDB_SIGNAL_0, to match the original
behaviour?
