Hi! Thank you for noting all the inconsistencies, I'll fix almost all of 
them before pushing!

The one thing I don't think it's a good idea is to make the change from 
record_full_list -> record_full_log in this commit... mostly because it 
will introduce untold amounts of rebase conflicts. I'll introduce a 
following commit to this series that will make that renaming, though :)
