Fine with me, I can prepare a patch for that, if no one objects.
Should we also move this part to the new switch?
At startup, GDB reads the following init files and executes their commands:
* user-specific init file: D:\usr\eli/.gdbinit
* local init file (see also 'set auto-load local-gdbinit'): ./.gdbinit
