If it's in the code and expected to be maintained, then it should be 
documented. How many times on this list have people been scratching 
their heads trying to figure out what an undocumented bit of code was 
supposed to do? These "deprecated" things seem to have a way of lasting 
longer than anyone's memories. :-)
