Renesas doesn't have an FSF assignment, and the m32r has been made obsolete.

Strange.  Has the m32r been un-obsoleted?

I submitted an identical patch last December and it never got in.  Sigh.
[this was before the m32r got obsoleted too ...]

Kazu-san, it would certainly be a good first step
if you could see about getting Renesas to submit an
FSF assignment...
