It looks like the above tar file has a truncated file:

	gdb-980122/gdb/configure.tgt

At least configure thinks so (and it sure looks truncated under
emacs).

(I don't think it matters, but the problem was observed with
"/v/src/gdb-980122/configure --target=powerpc-foo-eabi
--prefix=/usr/local/foo-tools --with-ccopts=-O2")

The GDB snapshot has been replaced with one containing a fixed
gdb/configure.tgt.  The changed file is gdb-980122.tar.gz;
the other files have not changed.
