The readme file under src/sim/ppc mentions links to ftp sites that have
information on how to build and run the simulator.

""A description of how to build PSIM is contained in the file:

                ftp://ftp.ci.com.au/pub/psim/INSTALL
        or ftp://cambridge.cygnus.com/pub/psim/INSTALL

while an overview of how to use PSIM is in:

        ftp://ftp.ci.com.au/pub/psim/RUN
or ftp://cambridge.cygnus.com/pub/psim/RUN
""

But none of these links work for me. Are there any alternate sites where
this docmentation is available?

ftp://ftp.ci.com.au/pub/psim/README says...

Psim has moved to a new home:

	http://sourceware.cygnus.com/psim/

but sourceware.cygnus.com has been replaced by sourceware.com I believe so
http://sourceware.org/psim/
has information.

Which link? http://sourceware.org/psim/ works for me. As does the
PSIM User Guide and Reference Manual (http://sourceware.org/psim/manual)
which includes information on building and running. (I haven't tried them
myself so YMMV.)

It works fine (but is *very* slow on some occasions). Either your
NAT/firewall is giving you problems, or you just didn't wait long enough.

I've the original source sitting here. I'll add it to the repository
(with a proper fsf (C)) once the FSF signed off on some paper work.
DJE@ibm can provide you with more details.
