Hello,

How does dos handle all the info files in gdb/doc?  They certainly are not 8.3
compliant.  I was going through the README file and noticed that they are
included in a release.

If you mean the *.info-* files, then the program used to unpack the
distribution (invoked by djunpack.bat) knows about these names (they
are in every GNU package) and renames them into *.i*, so that
gdb.info-1 becomes gdb.i1 etc.  (I need then tweak gdb.info's Tag
Table when I prepare a binary DJGPP release.)
