Hello all,

Once i want to develop a new simulator for my new architecture,
i can try to port the existing gdb target(ex:arm) for my new architecture.
I think that it is not an easy task.
So, does anyone knows that a tool that can generate the simulator for new
architecture(ISA).

                                                         thanks a lot!!
                                                         best regards

Hi

We need to have a list of which an ISA simulator is written by which
tool. For example, is it true that only PPC and MIPS were written in
IGEN?

Thanks

There are two tools, CGEN <http://sources.redhat.com/cgen/> and
IGEN, that generate simulators.

But a GDB port for a new architecture has to be written by hand.
