My sources are much newer, so I should already have what you

Thanks, I will look deeper into this. I understand that David says a
failure with 64-bit Irix 6 executables is expected, though. However,
I wonder: you seem to say that your new reader does succeed to work on
Irix? Or was the 64-bit support you meant tested on platforms other
than Irix?
