I just submitted a bug to gnats (tdep/1886), but I missed something and it 
went in as a 'change request' instead of a 'SW bug".

How do I fix this?

If you have a write-access GNATS account, it should be possible to edit the PR using 
the web interface.  Otherwise, you'll need to find someone else to do it for you.
