Subject: build broken when no msgfmt available?
Date: Tue, 18 Feb 2003 17:47:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20030218174757.GX25165@nexus.ninth-circle.org> (raw)
I was trying to built the tree after I specified my host combination the
hard way (alpha-dec-osf1) and it stopped after a while:
Making all in po
file=./`echo fr | sed 's,.*/,,'`.gmo && rm -f $file && PATH=../src:$PATH msgfmt -o $file fr.po
sh: msgfmt: not found
*** Exit 1
Stop.
I was under the impression that gdb needed no external dependencies to
compile, is this still valid?
(Sorry for being lame to not post a patch, but want to make sure my
thoughts on the entire project are still accurate. :))

Knowledge is one. Its division into subjects is a concession to human
