Hi all
I/m portiong a large multithreaded network C++ app which uses ACE and
Oracle from Solaris and Linux. Is there any way to debug multi-threaded
programs using GDB on Linux ? I'm using GDB version 5.1 on RedHar 7.2

It should work with that version. You may wish to try 5.2.1, which has
some additional improvements.
