While debugging ld.so in glibc 2.2.4 on Linux/x86 compiled with gcc
2.96, I got so many
(gdb) r
The program being debugged has been started already.
Start it from the beginning? (y or n) y
Starting program: /lib/ld-2.2.4.so ./dosemu.bin

gdb 5.1 has no problems.

H.J., you just posted a linker bug report to the binutils list. Is this
