The following was the agenda and discussions for both office hours:

GNU Tools Cauldron 2026 is sold out!
Discussed security incident response teams for glibc and binutils.
Discussed GNU Tools Cauldron remote presentation.
Edelsohn: What is the purpose of GNU Tools Cauldron?
Do we consider Cauldron as an on-site for the developers?
Issues? Where you want to go?
Is this something we would want to plan around?
Have keynotes that are talks for each project?
Day of research topics.

Carlos: Surya, as part of the IBM team, what do you think?
Surya: I would look forward to meeting people in person (networking), when I work on the non-architectural parts. Vectorizer I would be interested to know more.
Carlos: We have off-sites ahead of or after Cauldron. But being able to reserve a room for a business off-site meeting e.g. IHV/ISV meeting. That provides more value too.
David: If we treat this as an offsite then it might provide more justification for people to travel? If we treat this more as the entire project off-site and then pre-plan for per-project hours it makes focused tracks.
David: Should we design the conference around project offsites with a dedicated reserved day for the projects?
Andrew: Working on GCN SIMT.
Tobias: Changing from SIMD to SIMT.
David: Carlos and I are trustees of the GNU Toolchain Fund, which we use a lot of travel grants. We received a modest donation recently. We don't have a monthly quota for expenses. But should we highlight patrons or donors?
