mips-irix is completely broken. Is that OK? If yes, then we might want
to add a note about this somewhere.

Once the BFD patch is applied, what's next to fail?
(so I can write: Due to problems with both BFD and ... GDB 6.2 does not
work on MIPS IRIX).
