GDB 7.8.1 release planned Mon Oct 27...

Hello,

Just a quick message to remind everyone that the target date for
the GDB 7.8.1 minor release was Oct 27th, which is 10 days away.

We still have 1 outstanding problem marked as blocking, and one
marked as a maybe. If there is anything else that should be on
our watch list, please let us know!

I haven't at that one yet, but I will soon.

I'd like to have PR17408 fixed too.  (switch_back_to_stepped_thread: Assertion `!schedlock_applies (1)' failed).
I've had reports of that one triggering through other channels too.

I'll add it to the wiki.

Just a quick update. We are at planned date + 2 days, and I think
we've had patches posted for the 2 outstanding issues already (thank
you, Pedro!). I monitor the release wiki page daily, so as soon as
those go in, I'll produce the release.
