FSF GCC
gcc (GCC) 4.7.0 20111127 (experimental)
still has -gdwarf-2 as the default. Fedora GCCs have now -gdwarf-4
(with -fno-debug-types-section now) as the default.
(Your doc change is not affected by this.)
