Can we just use the copy from the top level of src?

I just noticed it hasn't been added to snapshots/releases yet; I will
take care of that.

The recommended text from the GPL itself is:

   This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify
   it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by
   the Free Software Foundation; either version 3 of the License, or
   (at your option) any later version.

   but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of

I think we should stick with that (note that you said "version 2" in
your copy :-)
