Thanks.  It does, and I've just committed it after retesting
on x86_64-pc-linux-gnu.

I believe I've just suckered Paul into updating the rest of the patch
series this originally came from, which was written to support
using GDB, and running the GDB testsuite, with ARM's proprietary
compilers.  With a bit of luck, we'll be submitting more of those
soon :-)
