Hello,

I propose to create the GDB 6.4 branch tomorrow (Tue), and start working
on a first prerelease right after that. Any objection to this? I think
we can have a delay of a few days without jeopardizing the release
target date, so...

As for the time of the branch, I propose 3pm Pacific Time (GMT-8), but
it can be at a different time if necessary.

No objections; FYI, I recall that Andrew always branched retroactively,
so that's an option too.

Yes, he documented that he used a date as the branchpoint, which makes
perfect sense.
