This one is the gdb part, and #8 is the gdbserver part, that is stated in the title.

I actually planned to add that info, but forgot.

These tests then pass on Windows:
gdb.arch/i386-avx.exp
gdb.arch/i386-avx512.exp

That's a good point.
I also wonder why I said variables instead of registers.

These registers are working then:
$xmm0 - $xmm31
$ymm0 - $ymm31
$zmm0 - $zmm31
$k0 - $k7

Not really.
And I just looked, and couldn't find similar info in there for Linux.
