Hi,
I am new to this list so please apologize if this
issue has been discussed before.
For gdb 4.18 there was a pathch for the Atmel AVR
microcontroller written by Denis Chertykov. I haven't seen any AVR support in
the latest (5.0) gdb version.
I tried to port the patch to gdb 5 but I
encountered several issues about changed macro and function definitions.
Therefore I want to make sure no one else has already done this job before I
spend more time on it.
The patch relys on a special monitor connected via
a TCP port.
This monitor software then uses a proprietary
connection scheme on the PCs parallel port which is frequently used to connect
Atmel AVR controllers.
