If you want to combine both traces: lttctl -C -w /tmp/trace1 trace usttrace myprog lttctl -D trace lttv-gui -t /tmp/trace1 -t /path_to_ust_saved_trace That should work. And don't forget to edit the usttrace source code to select the kernel tracer compatible trace clock timestamp source, else your timestamps will be desynchronized.
