Then the problem does not "persist" per se, as the kernel now compiles
and links. That's a whole different problem. I recommend to:
- try compiling a 2.6.32.4 kernel without the lttng patchset applied and
boot it to see if you have the same problem.
- If it works, then try reapplying the lttng patchset, but leaving all
lttng option configured as N, see if it works.
- Plug a serial console to your machine and get the kernel OOPS output.
