Subject: [lttng-dev] [RELEASE] LTTng-modules 2.10.7 and 2.9.10 (Linux kernel tracer)
Date: Thu, 9 Aug 2018 15:29:02 -0400 (EDT) [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1424025059.520.1533842942107.JavaMail.zimbra@efficios.com> (raw)
This is a bugfix release of the LTTng kernel tracer. It mainly
adapts to newer Linux vanilla and distribution kernels.
It also adds the "extra version information framework", which allows
appending extra version information to modinfo. See
extra_version/README and extra_version/patches/README for details.
With collaboration from distribution vendors, it will help identify
additional patches that are added on top of lttng-modules when bugs
are submitted to the project bug tracker.
The LTTng modules provide Linux kernel tracing capability to the LTTng
tracer toolset.
