I think this is your problem... I seem to recall that there were issues
with arm-elf near the 5.0 release. (A search of the mailing list archives
might show something.)
I've tried this on cvs head, and it (at least) stops at my breakpoint in
main. I suggest trying 5.2 or 5.3.
