Subject: return value of a gdb command
Date: Thu, 17 Apr 2003 23:11:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <Pine.GSO.4.44.0304171608210.7756-100000@sundance.cse.ucsc.edu> (raw)

Hi,
Is it possible to capture return value of a gdb command (status=error or
success)?
What I want to do is:
(gdb) <gdb-command>
(gdb) if status of <gdb-command> == SUCCESS
      then
           do-something
      else
           do-something-else
      end
(gdb)

Is it posible to do this?
Thanks
Smita
