Subject: General GDB Remote Serial Protocol questions
Date: Sat, 29 Sep 2001 12:27:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <F122id4i06b1youmxTc0000ad1d@hotmail.com> (raw)
I am interested in using GDB and have a couple basic questions. My
platform is 68360 based and I have a ton of RAM.
1) I understand I will be needing a debugging stub.
Will I really need to put the stub in target ROM? Can I just
do a serial or other download to ram and have the stub included
in that?
2) Does the gdb stubs package at sourceforge support the 68360/cpu32?
Thanks,
Mike
