I think the last subject did not do enough justice to the question. On IA32 running Debian-linux with kernel version: 2.6.21.3 A core dump of an application when opened in gdb6.6=20 shows the es register to be 32 bit.=20 I need to know if anyone here considers this a bug in gdb, so I can=20 be confident enough to turn it in as a bug.
