It doesn't work.
# gdb
warning: not using untrusted file "/home/midenok/.gdbinit"
(gdb) show auto-load safe-path
List of directories from which it is safe to auto-load files is /home/*.
(gdb)
I also tried other variants:
/home/midenok
/home/midenok/
/home/midenok/.gdbinit
Nothing works!
