There already is gold/po/sv.po. If there are updates needed, a patch would want
making instead (or whatever else is the usual process of incrementally changing
translations).

That said, gold is in the process of being deprecated (and ultimately removed,
unless a maintainer comes forward).

That's a question to the gdb folks, I suppose.
