I've put that in place on sourceware.org, verbatim --
with two changes:
- the old description file had to be retained so that gitweb would work
- I preserved the sole hook script: post-receive
so archer is back in business.
Your (Jan's) gdb.git tarball was a subset of what's on the server now,
so I haven't changed it. Regarding gdb.git, the automatic
cvs-to-git mirroring was turned off, but I'm about to turn it
back on, now that everything appears to be back to normal.
