Any sample program can be used such as a "hellow world". gcc -m64 -g testit.c -o testit gdb testit break "testit.c":43 run procfs:4235 -- process not stopped procfs: ...giving up The same program compiled in 32 bit mode debugs properly. -- Said the fox to the fish, "Join me ashore".
