Put simply I've had no luck.
10.20, configured with 'CC=cc -Ae' ..../configure dies in libiberty:
cc -Ae -c -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -g -I.

11.00, configured with ....../configure dies:
finding the maximum length of command line arguments...
/es/scratch/cagney/51/gdb/src/opcodes/../ltconfig[790]: There is not
enough memory available now.
configure: error: libtool configure failed
Configure in
/es/scratch/cagney/51/gdb/behemoth-hppa64-hp-hpux11.00/opcodes failed,
exiting.
