I'll be back in a week or two, and should have time to work on the release. I'd love to cut the branch mid september, for instance, and then create a first release shortly after that. We should probably do a round-table look at the remaining issues from the list documented in our gdb-7.0_release wiki page... Once we're ready, the actual technical work to cut the branch and then make the release takes about an hour each. -- Joel
