Hi,
I am using a x86 host and a PPC target to test the
gdb-6.3. But, in the gdb session, I get "segmentation
fault" error. I do the following to test the gdb:
1. Boot the target.
2. Copy the test program (simple hello world) on the
target.
3. Issue the following command on the target:
gdbserver :1234 ./test
4. On the host, launch gdb session.
gdb ./test
5. In the gdb session, issue following:
> target extended-remote <target ip>:1234
Then, I get following output:
>>>>>>>>>>>
(gdb) target extended-remote 192.168.4.16:1234
Remote debugging using 192.168.4.16:1234

<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Can somebody please help in this regard? I browsed
through remote.c and linux-low.c files, but can't see
anything wrong.
Thanks,
Vinay.
