On PPC64 there are also issues with reverse stepping over a line that has multiple executable statements in it. Not sure if this is related to what you are seeing. There is a patch that I have worked on with Luis Machado to fix. We have posted versions of it to the mailing list. The subject line is: Fix reverse stepping multiple contiguous PC ranges over the line table which might be relevant. Unfortunately, work on this patch has been stalled for awhile. The patch fixes 5 failures in gdb.reverse/solib- precsave.exp and 5 failures in gdb.reverse/solib-reverse.exp. You might want to take a look at it to see if it helps. Carl
