I'm going to guess you copy/pasted the patch to a new file, and while doing that, something (your editor or mailer?) line-wrapped the patch. I just now tried saving the whole email as an mbox file, and then applied it to a pristine tree with "git am", and saw no issues. -- Pedro Alves
